‘Y’  Wednesday ?

Perhaps reflection and intention is the key to personal growth ……

ON this day in 2018, I walked this path. I had set aside some special alone time during a family gathering.

I spent several days prior writing a letter to the “Maria-of-the-Past “ .. … the Maria that developed a pattern of self-sabotaging from living with the cycle of addiction for so long.. Blame and self sabotage had not only become comfortable habits , they were like my best friends. But I was not progressing as a spiritual being.( using my craft and talents )

So, I wrote a letter saying goodbye to this OLD me. I knew I would miss her as she was the perfect self-pity buddy. I buried the letter by one of these trees.

Today , the NEW MARIA seldom worries what others think . I know what keeps me fulfilled and able to be of service to others at the same time.

THERE IS only today. I am making ever TODAY of 2023 count. If it requires me suiting up and showing up with effort and ACTION… so be it. I find that calm & clarity is growing each day. And sometimes when I look in the mirror I swear I see a big smile and light that shines back…..
