Celebrating the Drupe Branch!

On the first of June, American celebrate National Olive Day..

Contrary to belief, the olive is NOT a fruit or a vegetable. It is a drupe. This means that it is a
fruit with pit in the middle and generally grown on a tree branch. (examples: apricot, plums and
cherries)

Kalamata, Castelvetrano and Manzanilla.
