Summer Purple Cabbage Salad

So in honor of the COLOR PURPLE, I have chosen my friend’s recipe to
be featured on my website. .This recipe has been a long time favorite of
hers and is super tasty.
This woman her culinary go-to tricks. After all she instructs those
suffering from trauma resources to heal through the art of yoga.
INGREDIENTS:
- One head of purple cabbage 2-3 carrots
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1 red pepper
- Toasted sesame oil
- Good Balsamic vinegar Salt
STEPS:
Cut the cabbage into small pieces and put into a bowl.
Shred the carrots and add them to the bowl.
Cut the red pepper into small pieces and add.
Cut the jalapeño and only use as much as you need. Some are hotter than
others so check before you add too much. Add to the bowl
Pour in Sesame Oil and Balsamic Vinegar. – I don’t generally measure, I go
by consistency and taste.
Add salt to taste.
Refrigerate overnight, or microwave for 30-45 seconds to help softenthe
vegetables and integrate the flavors.
Serve chilled.
